What’s the political future of Leni Robredo?
Two different groups launched these petitions on change.org for the political future of Vice President Leni Robredo.
Being under the opposition, it is known that the Vice President has received criticism in handling her position. However, it is also a known fact that her supporters never fail to rally behind her back in whatever issue being thrown at her.
For the 2022 elections, the name of Robredo is one of the political personalities who is included in the Top 10 presidential preference.
Apparently, there are already groups who are encouraging her to run for President in the next election.
The petition with the title: “Encourage VP Leni Robredo to RUN FOR PRESIDENT for the 2022 PH National Elections!” was launched on change.org.
According to the description of the petition, the person/group behind this wanted to “see the Philippines back on its way to being one of the most economically progressive, politically transparent, humane and respected countries in Asia.” They believe that VP Leni Robredo will be the one who will do this.
As of 8:12 AM of February 4, 2021, the online petition with the aim to reach 10,000 already has 9,340 signatures.
On the other hand, those who are against the Vice President started a different petition on the same site. “We don’t like Leni as President,” the online petition stated with a call “Leni, maghunos dili ka.”
As of 8:12 AM also, the petition that does not want VP Leni Robredo to seek the presidency with the aim to reach 35,000 signatures already had 25,173.
