Hold-Upper Arrested After His Father Report Him for Robbing 7-Eleven

Police arrested a hold-upper who robbed a 7-Eleven in Loyola Heights, Quezon City after his own father reported him to the authorities.

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director PBRIG General Danilo Macerin identified the arrested as Larvi Santos, 25, a hauling and truck service agent, resident of Domoz Marie Compound, Ruhale St., Brgy Calzada Tipaz, in Taguig City.

According to Anonas Police Station 9 commander P / Lt. Col Imelda Reyes, around 4:00 pm on February 1 when the suspect was arrested in Paranaque City. Around 11:15 pm, January 30, when the two men entered the 7-11 convenience store located at Esteban Abada St. Brgy Loyola Height Q.C.

It appears that the suspects pretended to be customers and allegedly loaded G-Cash but when they arrived at the crew cashier counter to load, the two pulled out a gun and declared a holdup, based on the report of Remate.

The suspects forcibly took the cellphone of one of the crews, which is an Oppo A9 and before fleeing they shot the wall glass of the store then rode a black Yamaha Mio motorcycle.

The victims, Nikko Gutierrez, 23, crew, Angeline Modem, 28, crew, Petty Officer 3 Joseph Manzano, Philippine Navy Reservist immediately reported the incident to the police who conducted the investigation and follow-up operation to arrest them.

One of the suspects who robbed the convenience store in the Loyola Heights Branch immediately arrested after his own father reported him to the police where he was located in Paranaque City.

Authorities are still searching for Santos’ unnamed accomplice. The suspect has been remanded in custody and is facing charges of Robbery with Attempted Homicide and two counts of Grave Threats.
