Hold-upper Killed After Encounter with Policewoman in LBC Quezon City
A hold-upper was killed after he and his accomplice try to rob an LBC outlet in Quezon City but stopped by a civilian policewoman.
In a report of Hataw, a hold-upper was killed, one was arrested but two escaped when a civilian policewoman exchanges gunshots with them inside the LBC branch at Matalino St., Barangay Pinyahan, Quezon City.
According to P / Col. Alex Alberto, chief of Quezon City Police District Station 10, around 3:00 pm, on February 1, four suspects entered and tried to rob the LBC branch in the said area. Coincidentally, the unnamed policewoman was inside LBC as she has a transaction.

While the suspects were declaring hold-up, the policewoman alerted and quickly got out and then took the gun out of her car. The police waited for the suspects to come out.
When the hold-uppers were outside, the policewoman introduced herself but one of the suspects immediately fired. As a result, the policewoman retaliated with gunfire until one of the suspects was killed but the two escaped quickly.
Meanwhile, another suspect who was left inside the LBC heard the gunshot did not come out yet so the policewoman arrested him. As of this writing, police are investigating the identities of the slain and arrested holdups. Up to P70,000 cash was stolen from the remittance center.
