PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (January 30)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the northeast monsoon would bring rains over some parts of the country.

On Saturday (January 30, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The northeast monsoon would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

The amihan would bring cloudy weather conditions with rains over Visayas, Caraga and Davao Region. Possible flash floods or landslides are expected during moderate with at times heavy rains.

The weather system would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Aurora, Quezon, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan. Metro Manila and the rest of the country are also expected to experience the same condition.

Cloudy conditions with light rains are also expected over the provinces Cagayan, Batanes, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Abra and Benguet. The remaining parts of Mindanao are also expected to experience the same.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the Luzon, Visayas, and the eastern section of Mindanao would be moderate to rough. The surrounding sea conditions over the remaining parts of Mindanao would be slight to moderate, according to PAGASA.
