PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day January 29, 2021 (Friday).

The latest update from the state weather bureau says that the Northeast Monsoon or amihan continues to affect Luzon on this day.

The bureau said in their website that the northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Aurora and Quezon. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate with at times heavy rains.

The said weather system will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

The rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the 4AM update, for the wind and coastal water condition forecast, Luzon, Visayas, and the eastern section of Mindanao will face moderate to strong winds that are moving in the northeast direction while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of Mindanao will face light to moderate winds that are also moving in the northeast direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
