KC Concepcion Apology Letter Over Controversial Tim Yap’s Party

Here’s an apology letter from KC Concepcion over the viral party held in Baguio City.

KC CONCEPCION – Famous personality and entrepreneur KC Concepcion issues apology after attending Tim Yap’s controversial party in Baguio.

Television personality Tim Yap held a party for his birthday last January 17 at the grounds of Camp John Hay Manor in Baguio City. It was attended by his famous friends and their photos violating safety rules and protocols surfaced.

In the party is Baguio City Mayor nd contact tracing czar Benjamin Magalong who resigned after admitting violation. He was with his wife in that party but his resignation was rejected by the National Task Force against Covid-19.

Also in the party is KC Concepcion. After over two weeks, the party’s photos have surfaces and drawn backlash amid rising cases of COVID-19 infections in the country. With this, the Megastar daughter and owner of jewelry line Avec Moi expressed her personal apology in an Instagram post.

On her caption, she paid tribute to “nurses, doctors, frontliners and caregivers who have been working hard since the beginning of last year”. She also shared her personal experiences being still getting used to with the new normal and her mental health, just like everyone else, takig its toll.

She then emphasized “that keeping a mask on and not letting our guards down is the least we citizens could do” and then bringing up what happened in Baguio. She expressed:

“I personally apologize for not having kept my mask on 100% of the time during a gathering. It has been 2 weeks since then and I hope we can move forward with lessons learned about safety protocols indoors or outdoors when in a crowd. I understand the panic. And I would react in a similar way.”

She also imparted the lessons she learned from this incident such as being more responsible both in traveling and gathering. Concepcion also left an advice to take care of our mental health, to give rest to body and mind, be focused and patient, doing things that make us happy, eat healthily, and be active.

She added, “As I’ve learned, we can connect with each other and love each other, while still being extra careful for ourselves and one another.”
