‘Akyat Bahay’ Arrested In Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan
AKYAT BAHAY – An ‘akyat bahay’ was recently arrested in the municipality of Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan after three years in hiding.
According to a report from ABS-CBN News, the police were on the hunt for the suspect, identified as Joseph Macaraeg for infiltrating a residence in Barangay BF Homes, Parañaque on Monday.
The Police Regional Office 3 reported that Macaraeg stole a caliber 9mm firearm, camera, laptop, 3 cellphone and some jewelries they are worth about P1.3 million.
The police added that the suspect was formerly involved in robbery and was easily identified via security.
They discovered that the suspect escaped and went into hiding in Dona Remedios Trinidad town.
The Parañaque police coordinated with other policemen in the nearby town in San Ildefonso to conduct a follow-up operation.
Retrieved from the suspect were some of the stolen items. Macaraeg will face charges for robbery and theft, based on the report.
