Here’s the reason why Carmina Villarroel asked this to her daughter Cassy Legaspi
Actress-host Carmina Villarroel told her daughter Cassy Legaspi if she could be like Toni Gonzaga because of this reason.
In the showbiz industry in the Philippines, the Legaspi family is one of the famous and well-loved celebrity families in this generation.
Carmina and her husband Zoren Legaspi are known for being hands-on parents to their twins Mavy and Cassy who are now also in showbiz.
Although the twins are now 20 years old, Carmina Villarroel said in a recent interview with PEP that she is not ready yet to let go of her babies.
She said that even though she knows that at some point she has to let go of them, she still can’t entertain yet this possibility.
The actress-host stresses that she is not discouraging her children to be independent but she is making them understand how difficult it is to be on their own.
She also said that if the time comes that the twins have to move out already, she wants their houses to be just in one compound.
Then, she shared that she told her daughter Cassy to be like Toni Gonzaga if possible. “Lagi ko ngang sinasabi, ‘pwede bang maging Toni Gonzaga ka?’ na hindi naman nag-move out pero kinasal naman sa tamang edad,” Carmina Villarroel said.
She is hoping that her daughter would also do the same. “Sana lang naman, sana lang naman,” she said.
On the other hand, Carmina said that what she said is not the final decision yet because things might still change in the future.
