Sue and Maris slammed this “fake photo”. It was manipulated from their photo in which they were wearing swimwear. The latter called out to the person who edited the photo to stop doing this kind of thing.

ABS-CBN released a statement on this scrutinizing the damaging action of the person behind the manipulated photo. Sue shared this statement of her home network on her Instagram account.

Following this, based on the article from PEP, several celebrities expressed support for the two actresses such as the boyfriend of Sue Ramirez, Javi Benitez. The actor shared a screenshot of a Twitter account that was already suspended that apparently has something to do with the spreading o the fake photo.

“Thank you @twitter, and those who reported this. Let’s be vigilant so this doesn’t happen again for all the other future victims out there,” Javi said in his post.

For actress Iza Calzado, the culprit should be held accountable. “Sue and Maris, I am so sorry to see this. I hope you find the people behind this. Thank you for using your platform, your voice, to try and put an end to this horrible, disgusting behavior,” she said.
