Piolo Pascual and Carmina Villarroel almost became a couple?
Actress-host Carmina Villarroel revealed that she and A-list actor Piolo Pascual almost entered a relationship with each other.
Carmina is happily married now to actor-director Zoren Legaspi and they have their twins Mavy and Cassy. However, during the recent birthday celebration of Mina, as what she is fondly called in showbiz, she revealed that she and Piolo became really close.
She was surprised when Piolo was among the celebrities who greeted her for her birthday, based n the article from Abante. That is aside from Broadway diva Lea Salonga who she really admires.
When the A-list actor appeared on the screen for his virtual greeting for the Sarap Di Ba? host, the latter asked, “Serious ba ‘to?” Carmina Villarroel said to Piolo Pascual that he seemed did not age a bit and that she appreciates the greeting from him.
Then, the actress-host revealed that they really became close to each other to the point that they almost became a couple. “Muntikan nang naging kami,” she revealed.

Piolo laughed and said, “dapat tayo, di ba?” As their conversation continues, Mina asked Papa P what was his fondest days with her. The actor said that it was during Esparanza days, his teleserye with Judy Ann Santos.
He revealed that there was a time when he and Mina had a date. It was a double date with Mina’s friend and Piolo’s older brother. Her friend and his brother ended up together.
The host said that it was just a friendly date between her and the actor. Piolo Pascual added, “If not for us, they wouldn’t be able to meet each other and be husband and wife.”
