Alleged Fixer in Laguna Found Dead After Being Shot by Riding-in-Tandem
CCTV footage shows how the alleged fixer in Biñan, Laguna was shot to death in the public place by group of riding-in-tandem.
According to the report of GMA News, the victim, Nestor Areza, was shot dead in front of a convenience store. Closed circuit television (CCTV) footage shows the escape of a group motorcycle, which was identified as the suspects.
Areza was rushed to the hospital. However, he was declared dead on arrival. The identity of the perpetrators and the motive for the shooting are still being ascertained.

Meanwhile, a priest found dead by police after reportedly being shot near his monastery in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, Sunday. Fr. Rene Regalado, 42, is currently assigned to the Carmelite Monastery in Sitio Pal-ing, Barangay Patpat.
Regalado’s fellow Priest allegedly heard about five gunshots but did not know where it came from. As they search for Fr. Regalado, the lifeless body of the priest was exposed to them.
According to them, they found a bullet wound to the head and an indication of beating due to the swelling in his left eye and the binding of his left hand. It was also learned that Fr. Regalado received a death threat before the cruel thing happened.
