Floyd Mayweather Lambast MMA Fighter Conor McGregor after His KO Lost
Retired boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. lambast MMA fighter, Conor McGregor, on Instagram after he lost via knockout with Dustin Poirier.
The retired American boxer took Instagram to express reactions to Irish mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter after the UFC 257, where McGregor got knocked out by his lightweight contender Poirier in the main event.
The rematch of their 2014 showdown that he has beaten Poirier in a quick way, turn into missed. The UFC main event on Saturday night in Abu Dhabi with Poirier knocked him out in the second round.
Meanwhile, Mayweather, who defeated McGregor in a boxing match in August 2017, mocked the Irish fighter “Con Artist McLoser” in an Instagram post. He reacted to the question of why he is hated than McGregor even though they both carries themselves.
“Why is Floyd Mayweather hated for the way he carries himself, but Conor McGregor is loved for the same way he carries himself?”, Mayweather said it was simply proof that “racism still exists.”
“My take on it is that the world knows Con Artist McLoser can steal everything from me and be loved but I’m hated. That just lets you all know that racism still exists,” said the undisputed boxer, who retired with a 50-0 record after beating McGregor.

He clarified “that bum will never be me or be on my level,” adding that they were built differently as Mayweather’s mind allegedly is on another planet and his skills are second to none. He also claimed that he is a natural-born winner.
“I’m just built different, my mindset is on another planet, my skills are second to none, I’m a natural born winner and yes I talk a lot of trash, but every time I back it up!” he said.
“This is what they hate. It’s sad that you can be a poor black kid from the ghetto that has dealt with racism your whole life and work extremely hard to put yourself and your family in a better position, and most of the hate come from my own people,” Mayweather added.
Mayweather also hit out in hopes of having a showdown between McGregor and Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao, which is planned for 2021 but has now been not be continued due to the defeat of the UFC fighter.
“Conor cannot even win in his own sport, but (he’s) talking about coming back to boxing to fight Pacquiao. Nobody wants to see that,” he declared. “It’s like my leftovers eating leftovers,” Mayweather said.
Pacquiao-McGregor fight has been rumored to transpire after both fighters show hint on their social media account. McGregor posted a Filipino word on his Twitter while Manny Pacquiao seems wanted to accept the MMA fighter challenge with his own post.
