Additionally, McGregor had also been vocal about wanting to fight the People’s Champ, Manny Pacquiao. He aimed to defeat the fighting Senator and become a champion in the boxing world.

But, does Pacquiao event want to be a part of this fight? It seemed like he does! Yahoo Sports reporter Kevin Iole uploaded a video on Twitter that may prove just that.

In the video, Pacquiao told McGregor, “Conor, good luck in your fight on Saturday night. Do your best“. Following this, Kevin Iole said, “After that, if you want to get a proper fight, good to see ya“.

Meanwhile, according to Jayke Joson, one of Pacquiao’s closest friends, he was confident that the fighting-Senator and McGregor would face-off in the ring. Also, according to a report from ABS-CBN, Joson said this would likely be Pacquiao’s last fight.

However, Pacquiao denied that he was in negotiations for a fight with McGregor. However, he had already signed with Paradigm Sports, which manages McGregor’s business.

On August 1st, McGregor also tweeted “Tinatanggap ko” which could possibly hint to accepting the fight that Kevin Iole meant.
