Welder in Quezon Arrested Over Unlicensed Gun After he Threatens Daughter
Police arrested a welder in Tiaong, Quezon for illegal possession of firearm after he threatened his own daughter with unlicensed gun.
In a report of Inquirer, a 56-year-old father was arrested for illegal possession of a firearm after he was caught with an undocumented .9mm caliber pistol inside his residence in Barangay Talisay around 6:50 p.m.

The suspect was identified by Tiaong Police as Cesar Rivera. According to the report, a preliminary investigation revealed that prior to the arrest, the suspect’s daughter Lovely called the local police station.
Lovely informed the authorities that she was threatened by her father with a handgun. As a result, the police immediately responded and arrest the suspect.
Police recovered a loaded firearm. The suspect was detained at the police jail and will face a complaint for the violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
