Four Suspected Kidnappers Killed In Gunfight In Quezon City

QUEZON CITY – Four suspected kidnappers were killed in an encounter with the cops in Barangay Holy Spirit, Quezon City on Friday.

Operatives from the Philippine National Police-Anti-Kidnapping Group and the QC Police District-Special Operations Unit also rescued a Chinese national that they kidnapped, according to a report from ABS-CBN News.

Initial investigation shows that the police received a tip from a Chinese national that his companion was nabbed by 4 male kidnappers.

The authorities found the kidnappers’ hideout at 3:40 AM early morning at Barangay Holy Spirit.

The operation resulted in a gunfight, which ended with the death of the four kidnappers.

Based on the report, the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) continues to probe the crime scene and identify the killed four kidnappers.

Retrieved from the scene of the crime were some firearms, hand grenade, and allegedly, illegal drugs.

Last year, a woman in Calasio town, Pangasinan was arrested after she allegedly attempted to to kidnap a child there.

The suspect attempted to kidnap the said child who was sleeping in a house of a certain Aba Estrella.

When caught and cornered, she pretended to look like she was dying.
