LTO 11 Suspends Office in Davao de Oro Until February 1, 2021

LTO 11 has suspended the work in its office in Davao de Oro until February 1, 2021 after a utility worker tested positive for COVID-19.

The Land Transportation Office Region (LTO) 11 released Memorandum No. LTO XI 2021 M-001 dated January 19 announcing the suspension of operation in district office in Nabunturan, Davao de Oro province.

LTO regional director Neil Cañedo signed the memorandum and implement the suspension immediately. All agency employees are required to undergo self-quarantine due to possible exposure to the infected utility worker.

The memorandum states that the regular office operation would resume on February 1, 2021 (Monday) after the health authorities disinfect and sanitize the working areas and the office’s vicinity.

“Work shall resume at 8:00 am Monday, February 1, 2021 after thorough sanitation and disinfection of workspaces and premises,” the memorandum read.

As of Wednesday (January 21, 2021), Nabunturan town recorded a total of 30 active cases, 91 recoveries, and two deaths. Meanwhile, Davao de Oro has a total of 769 COVID-19 cases with 11 new cases.
