Biden Makes Face Masks Mandatory For All Federal Properties

Finally, Face Masks Are Mandatory In US Thanks To Biden

BIDEN FIRST EXECUTIVE ORDER – President Joe Biden finally makes face masks mandatory in Federal properties in the United States.

For the longest time, the US has continued to break its own record for most COVID-19 cases in the world. As such, Biden with his first executive order wanted to address the critical issue of the coronavirus outbreak.

Previously, Trump’s administration failed to give emphasis on the importance of wearing face masks and simple health protocols. But, as Biden sits down as President, he signed his first E.O., the “100 Days Masking Challenge”.

For 100 days, Biden asks Americans to wear a face mask for 100 days and requires its mandatory use while on federal property. Furthermore, Biden’s camp also plans to coordinate with governors, public health officials, mayors, business leaders, and other bodies to implement masking, and social distancing measures.

Unfortunately, Biden, even as the President, cannot dictate what states and cities should do. However, federal lands and offices are still bound by the mandate. With this, Biden would still urge states and cities to follow suit.

Unlike Trump, Biden wanted to prioritize the coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, Trump, during his term, on several occasions, refused to wear a mask. Additionally, his appointed staff also followed leading to many of his close staff and himself infected with COVID-19.
