PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day January 20, 2021 (Wednesday).

The 4 AM daily update from the state weather bureau says that the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 20 kilometers northeast of Romblon, Romblon. Meanwhile, the tail-end of the frontal system is affecting the eastern section of Central Luzon, while the Northeast Monsoon will affect Northern Luzon.

For the forecast weather conditions, the LPA and TEFS will bring cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms over Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and Catanduanes. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to heavy with at times intense rains.

The combined forces of the two weather systems will also bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon. Again, possible flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to heavy with at times intense rains.

The LPA will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Central and Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao and Caraga. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides due to severe thunderstorms

Based on the report, for the forecast wind and coastal water condition, Luzon will face moderate to strong winds that are moving in the southeast to northeast direction while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.

Visayas and Mindanao will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the southeast direction while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.
