Ara Mina recalled the time when she was making adult movies
Actress Ara Mina opened up about her “hubadera” days that became her stepping stone in the entertainment industry.
During the 90s up to the early 2000s, movies with daring content became a trend. The careers of actors and actresses doing that kind of film boomed at that time.
Ara admitted that shifting from a wholesome image to being “hubadera” was a career choice. “Ginawa ko siyang stepping stone because nung time na pa-tweetums-tweetums ako, andami kong mga kasabayan, so hindi ako napapansin,” she said, based on the article from Bandera.
After that transition, the actress said that she experienced abrupt change in her career as she was given lead roles in movies. Because of that, she was able to have her savings from her projects.
However, Ara Mina also admitted that having that career path was not easy. “Noong unang nagtatanggal ako ng damit, per every take, umiiyak ako after,” she revealed.
Despite having that feeling, the actress said that she had to bear that with the mindset that it was just her job but then again, taking off her clothes in front of the camera took a lot of effort from her.
“Pero supportive naman yung mommy ko sa akin dahil gusto ko, kahit nagalit yung daddy ko sa akin. Maganda naman ang kinalabasan, na-achieve ko naman yung gusto kong ma-achieve,” she shared.
Meanwhile, Ara Mina is definitely happy now as she recently had her engagement with boyfriend Dave Almarinez. She shared several photos taken during the proposal and the engagement pray.
Several of her friends in showbiz congratulated her and expressed happiness for the next chapter of her life with her fiance.
