Ara Mina Prepares Return To FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano
ANG PROBINSYANO – Kapamilya actress Ara Mina to undergo swab test days before she resumes work with Coco Martin and other stars of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
Filipino actor Coco Martin is the lead star and director of Kapamilya’s top-rated action-drama FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. The show went off the air after the House Panel decided to deny ABS-CBN’s franchise. The 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic also affected the production of the show.
The long-running series continues to air. Last month, FPJAP resumed its lock-in taping. They even added a new character in the show who will be played by Richard Gutierrez.
Based on a report from PUSH, Ara Mina is now preparing for her return to Ang Probinsyano. She joined the cast of the hit program last January along with Tirso Cruz III, and Jerald Napoles.
The veteran actress has worked with Coco Martin 12 years ago. She and the actor played siblings in the now-defunct show “Ligaw na Bulaklak.”

A few days before she resumes taping for FJAP, Ara Mina said she is set to take a swab test before she resumes work with Coco Martin and other stars of the Kapamilya show. She said “aalis ako ng Manila ng Sunday, September 6 pagtapos makuha ng result ng swab test ko tapos lock-in na kami sa Batangas. Halos three weeks din ako do’n kasi sa September 27 na ang balik ko ng Manila.”
“Siyempre kasama na ‘yon sa safety protocols para hindi rin mag-worry yung dadatnan mo sa set. Tapos before kami umuwi from the location, another swab test na naman. Ganun na talaga ngayon, eh. Kailangan talaga nating mag-ingat,” she added.
During her interview, Ara Mina also revealed that there is a development in her character Ellen Padua on FPJAP. “Hindi ko pa nababasa yung buong script pero exciting ang magyayari sa aking character. Basta interesting yung magyayari na nung una hindi ko talaga ini-expect na magiging ganun,” she shared.
