Two Men Wanted For Murder, Frustrated Murder, Nabbed In Sampaloc

SAMPALOC – Two men who were wanted suspects for murder and frustrated murder were recently arrested in Sampaloc district, Manila.

According to a report from ABS-CBN News, the police apprehended the suspect, identified as Leonardo Galiendes, 50 years of age, after five years of hiding.

The police had a warrant of arrest against the suspect, who was aboard a passenger bus in España Boulevard, Manila.

District police commander Lt Col. Gene Licud said that Galiendes was the suspect being a shooting incident in 2015 where he shot his neighbor to death after the latter allegedly harshly insulted the suspect.

Upon receiving information about the location of the suspect, the police immediately arrested him.

The “top 4 most wanted person” in the area was also arrested in Felina Street, based on the report.

Jay-R Saldivar was identified as one of the six suspects behind the stabbing of their fellow companion a year ago. A CCTV footage also showed that the police were in hot pursuit.

The suspect said, in defense that he was stuck in the middle of the incident and was forced to run away from the cops. The suspect will be charged for frustrated murder.
