Is it true that Jonel Nuezca pleaded “not guilty”?
Policeman Jonel Nuezca, who was seen shooting a mother and a son in a video, allegedly pleaded “not guilty” and here is the reaction of the Twitter world.
To recall, Nuezca caught the attention of the online community and prompted outrage from many netizens because of the shooting incident in Tarlac. In the viral video, he shot Sonya and her son Frank Gregorio during a heated argument.
A recent apparent update regarding this case surfaced online. An article from Daily Feed Planet was released having this headline: “Jonel Nuesca na pumatay sa mag inang Gregorio, naghain ng “Not Guilty” plea.”
In the article, it was stated that Atty. Freddie Villamor, the lawyer of the Gregorio family shared on Raffy Tulfo’s program Wanted, said that Jonel Nuezca was absent during the recent hearing at the Branch 67 of Paniqui Tarlac because he is still in quarantine.
Through a video call, it was stated that the policeman will be facing 2 counts of murder but he pleaded “not guilty”. The said article was shared on the Twitter account of Kapamilya Online World and this captured the attention of many netizens.
Allegedly, he the policeman reasoned out that he did not transgress any law when he shot the victims.
Nuezca was once again criticized and along with his name, the phrase “ang kapal ng mukha” also trended on Twitter on Sunday. Apparently, this did not sit well with many netizens who have been criticizing the viral shooting incident in Tarlac last December.
