PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Updates For Saturday (January 9, 2020)
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the Amihan and Tail-end of a Frontal System (Shearline) would affect the country’s weather condition.
On Saturday (January 9, 2020), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration has released the latest weather updates in the country. The northeast monsoon and Tail-end of a Frontal System would affect the weather.
PAGASA said that the shearline would bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas. Cloudy skies with light rains are expected over Cagayan Valley and the Cordillera Administrative Region.

The amihan would also partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country.
The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over Mindanao and the rest of Visayas.
Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over Luzon, eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao would be moderate to rough. The surrounding sea conditions over the remaining parts of the country would slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
