Janine Gutierrez will not speak yet about transferring to ABS-CBN
Actress Janine Gutierrez, reportedly, is not yet allowed to be interviewed regarding her upcoming network transfer from GMA to ABS-CBN.
For nine years, Janine has been doing projects in the Kapuso network. However, before 2020 ended, news about her network switch circulated online.
Previous reports stated that GMA did not renew her contract and that she was offered to be part of the Kapamilya network. It was also said that she is set to sign a contract with ABS-CBN this month.
Based on the article from Bandera, showbiz reporters have been waiting to get the statement of Janine regarding this matter. However, reportedly, she was told not to do any interview yet.
“May inaayos pa. Saka binilinan na hindi muna magpapa-interview talaga si Janine sa reporters hangga’t hindi pa siya nilo-launch,” a source from ABS-CBN said to Bandera columnist Reggee Bonoan.
The columnist added that a source from GMA revealed that the network transfer of Janine Gurierrez is supported by her boyfriend Rayver Cruz who previously was under the Kapamilya network’s management.
In line with Janine’s nonrenewal of contract with GMA, speculations surfaced as the alleged reason behind it. It was said that the decision of the Kapuso network was affected by how she involves her name in politics.
A recent article also brought out the speculation that it was because of her remark against Senator Bong Revilla’s showbiz comeback.
However, the actor-politician said that he has nothing to do with that and that he had no ill-feelings against the actress. On the other hand, he pointed out that still respect for older personalities must be there.
