Makati PNP has this statement regarding the Dacera case
DACERA CASE – Celebrities and netizens reacted to the statement of Police Colonel Harold Depositar, Makati’s Chief of Police, saying that even gay suspects are still men.
In an ABS-CBN interview, Depositar said that a friend of Christine Dacera, who is also her co-worker in an airline company, said that she noticed something was added to her drinks that made her not feeling well.
Although the reported cause of death was “Ruptured Aortic Aneurysm”, the Makati PNP Chief said that it might be due to the high level of toxicity of alcohol or high blood pressure.
One of the suspects is Gregorio Angelo Rafael de Guzman, the son of veteran singer Claire dela Fuente, who admitted that he is gay and he never had intercourse with women.
In line with this argument, Depositar said, “lalake pa rin sila”. He added that men have instinct and this come naturally when they are under the influence of intoxicating alcohol and in the presence of drugs.

Because of this, celebrities and netizens tweeted the “PNP: “Kahit bakla ‘yan, kapag nakainom ng alak nagiging lalake ‘yan.” They also gave their reactions to this matter.
Chienna Filomeno did not agree with that statement of Depositar while K Brosas spoke from her experience. DJ Chacha also slammed this argument and John Lapus replied with the same thought to her tweet.
Several gay netizens and those who have gay friends also reacted to those. Some showed videos, photos, memes, and gifs to contradict the statement of Makati PNP Chief.
