Shopee Riders Slams Agency Office for Holding their Salary
Video footage of Shopee riders flock at the agency office of the online shopping platform and air dismay for holding their salary goes viral.
A rider’s Facebook post went viral online where he complained about the online shopping app Shopee holding into their salaries. Estrang Vench Alvarez uploaded video footage of disappointed riders waiting for their salary.
In the post, Alvarez said that they have already accepted that they do not have 13th-month pay but he said they won’t accept that they will be holding and deny the salary they have worked for.
“Wala kaming tanging hinihiling kung hinde SAHOD namin. PINAGHIRAPAN namin yan. Tanggap na namin na wala kaming 13th month kahit ung sahod nalang namin na December 7 to 13 ang hinihiling naming,” Alvarez said in his Facebook post.

“Puro delay pasahod nalang lage pasakit at pahirap ginagawa nyo sa rider nyo. Kagabe nag pasahod 10pm to 12am sa taguig tapos biglang nag bago lumipat nang pasay kaya d na kmi tumuloy isipin mo 12am papapuntahin ka pang pasay WTF hays,” he added.
In the video footage, shopee riders rushed to its agency office at Placer 8 in Taguig. “Ung 2nd video ayun ung actual kagabe sa taguig sobrang pahirap sa mga rider nang shopee,” Alvarez wrote.
