Year Ender 2020: Cops, Army On ‘Full Alert’ Ahead Upcoming Year 2021
YEAR ENDER 2020 – The Atmy’s 4ID and the Cops’ Regional Office 13 are still on full alert’ status to ensure safety in welcoming year 2021.
“Yes, our field commanders under the command of 4th ID chief and Joint Task Force Diamond (JTFD) commander Maj. Gen. Andres C. Centino remains on full alert status in all our areas of responsibility,”
This came from a statement from 4th ID Public Affairs Office (PAO) chief Maj. Rodulfo S. Cordero, Jr, according to Manila Bulletin.
“All our field unit commanders are in their respective command headquarters to closely supervise their respective men,”
Policemen from Caraga region are also on post and conducted operations as early as December 16 to ensure safety, security and success of the holiday season.
PRO 13 Regional Director P/Brig. Gen. Romeo M. Caramat, Jr. lso said that the safety of residents there is the cops’ greatest gift to them.
“The safety of Caraganons is our greatest gift to them and rest assured that we will remain focused in doing our job in maintaining the peace and order situation in the area.”
They are under orders to also arrest illegal manufacture, sale and use of prohibited firecrackers and pyrotechnics nationwide. This is part of the government’s effort to save lives and limbs in the upcoming 2021.
Republic Act No. 10591, which prohibits loose firearms, will be strictly enforced via OPLAN Bakal and OPLAN Sita to deter any untoward incidents, which involves stray habits.
