The parents of Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo reportedly were absent during their supposed reunion.
At this time of the year, family reunions and gatherings are more frequently being held. Even celebrities, as they are taking this time to have their vacation also, also hold reunions and family gatherings.
Based on the article by entertainment columnist Aster Amoyo in Pang-Masa, the expected reunion of Sarah and her husband Matteo Guidicelli with her parents Mommy Divine and Daddy Delfin Geronimo did not happen.
Amoyo added that the celebrity couple, who got married in an intimate wedding ceremony last February 20, is still hopeful that the parents of the Popstar Royalty will accept them eventually.
It is known among showbiz fans that the parents of Sarah Geronimo are very strict when it comes to her love life. Apparently, her parents did not allow their wedding as a reported commotion happened when Mommy Divine arrived at the venue.
This is one of the controversial showbiz events this 2020. Matteo was even dragged into an issue that he allegedly punched the bodyguard of his wife who arrived with Mommy Divine.
The columnist also said that Matteo is hoping that he and Sarah will get married again in a ceremony in which their parents from both sides will be there. Their wedding before the lockdown was a very simple one and only a few people were there.
Meanwhile, Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli held a get-together with the Popstar Princess’s relatives in their new house.
