How’s Mommy Divine Geronimo now after the wedding of Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli that went controversial due to the commotion that happened?
The mother of the Popstar Royalty received a massive amount of bashing when reports came out that she created a scene after the union of the couple. Apparently, she is still not in favor of the union and this came out other issues such as allegedly she never liked Matteo. It was also alleged that she asked conditions from her daughter before she will give her blessings to them.
After the controversy, the newlywed couple is now doing their wife and husband duties but how about Divine Geronimo? Based on the article from PEP, talent manager Wowie Roxas was able to meet the mother of Sarah just recently and he shared the story about this.
According to the talent manager, he met Divine at her restaurant/store in Mindanao Avenue, Quezon City, last Tuesday. Wowie shared that he can see the loneliness in the eyes of Divine.
“Mga fresh ang gulay na itinitinda ni Mommy Divine. May mga kalabasa, radish, kamote… Nagtitinda rin siya ng suka sa puwesto nila sa Mindanao Avenue. First time ko na ma-meet si Mommy Divine dahil isinama lang ako ni Joy,” the talent manager said. He was talking about Joy Alonzo, the talent manager of Martin Nievera.
Wowie said that Divine initially refused to have a photo with him but the talent manager insisted. The mother Sarah requested not to post the photo. “Ayaw nga niyang magpakuha kami ng litrato, pero napapayag ko rin. Ang sabi niya, huwag kong i-post, pero nag-post pa rin ako,” he said.
The talent manager also expressed his admiration to Mommy Divine for working hard in her business, based on the article. According to Wowie, this is a proof that she is not just depending on Sarah financially.
