ABS-CBN Gets YouTube 2nd Diamond Content Creator Award

ABS-CBN dominates digital platforms as they received their 2nd YouTube diamond play button award for content creators.

ABS-CBN News’ diamond play button arrived in November, three months after its subscribers reached 10 million. Currently, the ABS-CBN News channel has 11 million subscribers on Youtube and more than 1.7 billion lifetime views.

ABS-CBN first received the diamond creator award in 2018 for the ABS-CBN Entertainment channel which now has 31.6 million subscribers and over 38.8 billion lifetime views.

It is the first YouTube channel in the country to have 30 million subscribers and the second-largest subscriber in Asia. When it comes to the number of views, it is the tenth in the world, based on data from October.

ABS-CBN officials Mark Lopez, chief executive officer and president Carlo Katigbak, chief operating officer of broadcast Cory Vidanes, Integrated News head Ging Reyes, and Digital head Jamie Lopez recently presented two awards from YouTube.

After halting ABS-CBN’s broadcast operation due to the lack of a franchise, ABS-CBN has intensified the delivery of its shows through Facebook, YouTube, iWantTFC, and its digital company partners.

Other ABS-CBN channels such as Star Music, Pinoy Big Brother, Star Cinema, The Voice Kids Philippines, and The Gold Squad, all of which have millions of subscribers on Youtube.
