PNP Chief Sinas Trends on Twitter After Suggesting Not To Take Videos & Photos During Crime Incidents

PNP chief Police General Debold Sinas trends on Twitter after discouraging the public to take pictures and videos during crime incidents.

The controversial video footage of “My Father is a Policeman” incident spread like a wildfire online after it was posted on social media. Police Senior Master Sgt. Jonel Nuezca received criticisms after shooting mom and son in Tarlac.

Nuezca shoots Sonya Gregorio and its son Frank Anthony Gregorio while having an exchange of heated arguments due to ‘boga’. The suspect eventually surrendered at Pangasinan Municipal Police but transferred to Paniqui Municipal Police.

One of the witnesses was able to film and capture the entire incident. The video would serve as a strong evidence against the suspect because videos and pictures does not lie. It also speaks the entire truth.

Recently, Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police General Debold Sinas trends on Twitter after discouraging the public to take photos or videos during crime incidents similar to the “My Father is a Policeman” incident.

“I think nasa mga tao po ‘yun, sa mga witness na kumuha (ng video and photos). I will not advise because very tricky ‘yun. Baka mamaya kumuha ka ng video tapos baka mababalingan ka, so sa inyo po ‘yun,” Sinas said.
