Sandra took a photo of her father while on the hospital bed. Her father pulls out and opens the laptop as he was trying to finish the grades of his students.

According to Sandra, her father knew that he was going to the emergency room so he packed his laptop and charger so he could enter them. She shared that her father is worried about finalizing grades for progress reports.

The day after the heartbreaking photo captured, her father died. In the post, Sandra said that she hopes that the story of her father would inspire others to give respect to their teachers.

“Teachers put in so many extra hours, hours that many don’t realize. Even during a pandemic, even during a health crisis, teachers worry about completing their duties,” she wrote.

“Thank your teachers. If you are married to one, help them set boundaries, if you are the daughter/son of one, don’t let them work once they’re home. Be kind to your teachers,” Sandra added.
