BATANGAS TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS – Amid the pandemic Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), here’s are the requirements to travel to Batangas.

Traveling for 2020 has been hard and at the height of the pandemic, it has been restricted so as not to further the spread of the virus. Tourist destinations temporarily closed down and some businesses went to worst – they permanently closed down due to pandemic Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Batangas Travel Requirements

For the past months, quarantine classifications loosened up and some beaches and resorts started reopening their doors to tourists. The easiness is one way to help the tourism industry slowly recover. However, strict health and safety protocols are still implemented.

Among the famous spots are that have reopened are diving spots in Anilao and Mabini such as Balayan Bay, Cathedral Rock, Beatrice Rock, Twin Rocks, and Mainit Muck. Stilts Calatagan Beach Resort is also accepting with room rates ranging from Php 5,000.00 for 2 pax to Php 18,800.00 for 7 pax.

Now, here are some of the things you need to know to travel to Batangas:

  • Since October 15, 2020, they started accepting domestic tourists from GCQ and MGCQ areas.
  • A negative RT-PCR result within 48 hours is required before arriving in Batangas.
  • People from nearby towns must present a medical certificate which shows that they don’t have any symptoms and indicates that they are fit to travel.
  • They must book in hotels and resorts that have a Certificate of Authority to Operate (CAO) or Provisional Certificate of Authority to Operate (PCAO). These are given by the Department of Tourism (DOT) to them to certify that they are now allowed to operate and following health protocols. Make sure that your booking is required.
