Netizens Cringe At PBB Connect Housemate’s Tweet Before
PBB – A Pinoy Big Brother Connect Housemate Tweeted #YesToABSCBNShutdown before and it made a lot of netizens cringe.
The Pinoy Big Brother Connect is the 15th Edition of the iconic reality show. It is hosted by Kim Chiu, Edward Barber, Toni Gonzaga, Robi Domingo, Richard Juan, Enchong Dee, Melai Cantiveros, Maymay Entrata, and Bianca Gonzalez.
They conducted the audition online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The coronavirus didn’t stop the 170,000 auditionees to try their luck to become an aspiring housemate.
In a previous article, PBB’s first-ever teen winner Kim Chiu reacted to the auditionees who said Yes to the ABS-CBN shutdown before. The hashtag #YesToABSCBNShutdown top the Twitter trending topic for several times now.
The first was when President Rodrigo Roa Duterte threatened to shut down Kim’s home network. The second was when SolGen Jose Calida filed a “quo warranto” petition against the media giant.
“Okay lang. At least hindi nanaig ‘yung sinabi nilang ‘Yes to ABS-CBN Shutdown.’ Meron pa ring liwanag…”
“Sa ginagawa nilang ‘yan, sinu-support pa rin nila ‘yung Kapamilya channel. So parang, kinain lang nila ‘yung sinabi nila!” she added.

The # YesToABSCBNShutdown once again trended on Twitter after a PBB Connect housemate named Russu Laurente was caught Tweeting about the ABS-CBN shutdown before.
He wrote: “#YesToABSCBNShutdown Wag nyo tripan president naming. Mag mantinir mig GMA ngano man diay.”
