Here’s what Enchong Dee has posted about these Cagayan and Isabela officials.

ENCHONG DEE – Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee chides Cagayan and Isabela officials who voted to shut down ABS-CBN network previously.

Typhoon Ulysses with an international name Vamco has drowned a lot of houses and greatly affected a lot of people due to deep and severe flooding. The great flooding in parts of Cagayan and Isabela due to release of water from Magat Dam has shocked many netizens over the weekend.

The great waters that the dam has released is due to the recent intense weather changes and the heavy rains from typhoon. The local government officials said that what happened is something they considered to be the worst that they experienced in four decades. Residents whose houses got submerged in deep waters were left with no choice but to stay in the roof of their house to wait for help and rescue.

And with this, Enchond Dee chided the officials in a post saying, “Yung nanisi kayo pero nakalimutan nyo kayo pala dahilan.”

This is because many people believed the great help of ABS-CBN network could have done if it wasn’t shut down. The network has regional channels which is one major source of news to some areas, such as the far-flung areas, for other television networks could not reach them.

In the actor’s post, he’s seemingly mocking these officials for ultimately voting to close down their top source of news. To recall, the network received an overwhelming of 70 votes from lawmakers to not grant their network a fresh 25-year franchise.
