PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day December 10, 2020 (Thursday).

The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the low pressure area or LPA was last spotted at about 35 kilometers south southwest of Alabat and is expected to bring rains over parts of Luzon on this day.

According to GMA News, Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, and Pangasinan will face cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms brought about by the LPA.

The bureau warned that possible flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate to heavy rains.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will face cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon or amihan.

The rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, for the wind speed forecast, the northern and western sections of northern Luzon will face moderate to strong winds that are moving northeastward while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will face light to moderate winds that are moving eastward while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
