Next Darna Jane de Leon Very Grateful to ABS-CBN Executives
JANE DE LEON – The young Kapamilya actress spoke about the ABS-CBN executives over the Darna project pushing through.
One of the projects that a lot of people are excited to watch is Darna. Supposedly, it was a movie under Star Cinema and the actress chosen for the role is Jane de Leon.
Truths be told that Jane is a new face to the industry – but also one with the most beautiful faces and has excellent talent skills. One of her popular roles was her character as Maggie Bartolome in Halik.
It was in 2019 when the big break in the career of Jane took place. A lot of people most especially her fans and supporters are excited to see the young actress playing the iconic role.
However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Darna was placed under indefinite postponement by ABS-CBN. A lot of people were saddened including Jane but the young actress also prioritizes safety amid the health concerns.
Tapings for several projects have resumed now. Most of the productions and casts are doing lock-in tapings for the safety as the threat of COVID-19 is still present in the Philippines.
Recently, a good news for those who were saddened when Darna was placed under indefinite postponement crossed the surface. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, it is pushing through as a TV series first.
Jane de Leon is very grateful to the ABS-CBN executives. Based on the report, even the young actress thought that it might not be pushed through anymore.
“Grabe ‘yung pasasalamat ko sa mga boss. Until now, nandoon pa rin ‘yung tiwala nila sa akin na ibigay ‘yung bato,” she said.
Based on the report, Jane said she did not want to expect anymore. She also promised God not to because she knows there are blessings that are coming her way.
The Kapamilya actress is also ready for those who might question her capabilities. The actresses who were previously chosen for Darna also experiences questioning. According to her, she even asks herself what made her the choice for the role.
