Dennis Padilla Claims Marjorie Barretto Refused To Work w/ Him in MMFF 2020 Movie

MARJORIE BARRETTO – Actor-comedian Dennis Padilla revealed that his ex-wife was supposedly his partner in a Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2020 movie.

Among the celebrities who are an ex-couple are Dennis Padilla and Marjorie Barretto. It was in 1997 when the two celebrities officially tied the knot but some differences led their marriage to separation.

Dennis and Marjorie’s marriage was blessed with three children – Julia, Claudia, and Leon. All of them lived with their mother after the separation. Their daughters are now young ladies while their son is a young handsome man.

Julia Barretto, like both her parents, also joined showbiz. She was able to build a house of her own already. Claudia is into singing and is pursuing a music career.

Based on a recent report in Pep, Dennis Padilla and Julia Barretto recently met after almost a year due to the situation in the Philippines now. It was an accidental meeting for the celebrity father-daughter who are both under Viva Artists Agency now.

Speaking to DZRH, Dennis revealed that he got emotional to finally see his eldest daughter again. However, being a comedian with a strong facade, he did not let his daughter saw his weakness.

Dennis narrated how he met Julia. According to him, he and Janno Gibbs were set to tape aa VTR for the promo of their upcoming movie. They were in the third floor of the building.

“Sabi sa akin ni Janno, ‘Pare, halika, labas ka. Paglabas ko, dumungaw ako sa bintana, si Julia nandun sa baba. Meron silang workshop,” he said.

Based on the article, Dennis Padilla also revealed that Marjorie Barretto was supposedly his partner in his upcoming movie. However, the former actress declined.

“Noon dapat, parang si Marjorie ang gusto nilang na i-partner sa akin… Ako, okay lang… e, si Marjorie, ayaw,” the comedian expressed.
