PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (December 5)
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the Amihan or northeast monsoon would bring cloudy and rainy weather conditions over some parts of the country.
On Saturday (December 5, 2020), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The amihan would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the northeast monsoon would bring cloudy conditions with rains over Ilocos Norte, Apayao, Abra, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Cagayan and Isabela. The amihan would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated light rains over Central Luzon, Rest of Ilocos Region, the Rest of Cagayan Valley, Ifugao and Benguet.
The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country.
The weather agency also advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the western section of southern Luzon, remaining parts of Luzon, and Eastern Visayas would be moderate to rough. The rest of Visayas and Mindanao would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
