PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day December 4, 2020 (Friday).

The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the Tail-end of a Frontal System will be affecting the eastern sections of central and southern Luzon, while that northeast monsoon or amihan will affect northern Luzon and the rest of central Luzon.

According to GMA News, Qurino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Rizal, Quezon, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Camarines provinces will face cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the Tail-end of a Frontal System. The rest of central Luzon will face cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon or amihan. Flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate to occasionally heavy rains.

Amihan will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region and rest of Cagayan Valley.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, for the wind speed forecast, Northern Luzon, Central Luzon, the western section of Southern Luzon will face moderate to strong winds that are moving northeastward while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of Luzon and eastern Visayas will face moderate to strong winds that are moving in the southeast to northeast direction while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the Visayas and Mindanao will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the southwest to southeast direction  while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
