Fil-Austrian Melanie Mader Want to Become Part of Show Business of Philippines

A Fil-Austrian beauty queen Melanie Mader wants to become part of the Filipino show business industry in the Philippines.

International beauty queen Melanie Mader will also enter the colorful world of show business in the Philippines as she joins PeppsTV, the digital entertainment platform of Filipino live events production company Prime Event Production Philippines (PEPPs) Foundation Inc.

Mader was first recognized when she represented the Filipino community in Austria at the 2016 Miss Philippines Earth pageant, where the controversial Imelda Schweighart won, based on the article of Bandera.

The Filipino-Austrian model took home the crown as Miss Philippines-Ecotourism but received the title of Miss Philippines-Water when the supreme queen resigned.

In 2018, Mader represented Austria at the Miss Earth pageant, where she was nominated as Miss Earth-Air. Nguyen Phuong Khan clinched the highest title, the first big crown for Vietnam.

According to the report, Mader and other newcomers were introduced to the launch of the online channel held at the Matrix Creation Events Venue in Quezon City on December 1. They were joined by Iñaki Torres, who starred in the online BL (boys love) show “MyDay: The Series.”

Mader said she underwent intense training to become an actress. She said we show our real selves in pageants. But in acting, we have to present different characters.

She is open to accepting any roles, it can be heroes or villains. She will be seen in the online BL series “My Toxic Lover” starring Torres again, and will be seen on PeppsTV in 2021.

PEPPs chief executive officer Carlo Morris Galang said they launched an online channel to continue to provide employment to its staff, as the live events industry suffered a major blow when the pandemic hit the country.
