Wife Of Ex-Iloilo Mayor Responds To Duterte Following His Statements About Husband
MARIVIC MABILOG – The wife of ex-Iloilo mayor, Jed Patrick Mabilog, Marivic Mabilog, took to social media to respond to the statements of President Duterte.
Recently, Duterte once again called out the former mayor as one of the officials involved in corruption. During his last weekly address to the public, Duterte said:
Jed Patrick Mabilog, mayor, Iloilo City. Dismissed for grave misconduct, serious dishonesty, and conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service.
Back in 2017, President Rodrigo Duterte accused Jed Patrick Mabilog of being part of an illegal drug trade. The Ombudsman dismissed Mabilog for “unexplained wealth”. However, Mabilog responded to the claims and said he had nothing to hide when Duterte ordered a lifestyle check on the former mayor.

Meanwhile, as a response to Duterte’s statements, Mabilog’s wife posted on her Facebook page:
“Merry Christmas, Digong, Spend the holidays better. Do you really miss Jed? Move on. Better yet, get a life. You’re fast running out of one”
On a separate post, Mabilog’s wife offered Duterte a list of songs to express how he feels about her husband. These include: Hopelessly Devoted to You,” “I Will Always Love You,” “It Must Have Been Love” and “When Will I See You Again”.
Finally, Marivic Mabilog asserted that Duterte is no longer relevant to their lives. Additionally, she said that Duterte has done nothing but fabricate charges against her husband.
You have nothing on Jed except fabricated charges decided by your spineless minions. Move on. As I said before, stop looking at my family and start looking at yours.
