Ex Iloilo Mayor To Duterte: “Di Maka Move On Saken, Inlab Ka Tay?”

Ex Iloilo Mayor Jed Mabilog Answers Duterte Following Weekly Address

EX ILOILO MAYOR ANSWERS DUTERTE – Back in 2017, President Rodrigo Duterte accused Jed Patrick Mabilog of being part of an illegal drug trade.

The Ombudsman dismissed Mabilog for “unexplained wealth”. However, Mabilog responded to the claims and said he had nothing to hide when Duterte ordered a lifestyle check on the former mayor.

Yesterday, Duterte once again, reminded Mabilog of this fact. During his weekly address to the nation, the President said:

Jed Patrick Mabilog, mayor Iloilo City. Dismissed for grave misconduct, serious dishonesty, and conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service

As a response, Jed Patrick Mabilog took to Twitter to defend his name.

You can destroy me all you want, but you could never deny the fact what Iloilo achieved together with the Ilonggos, that you never said anything great about Iloilo Kasi bitter ka, coz you can only bully me. Ilonggos are smart and would always see the dirt beneath your pores.

Furthermore, the former mayor cited how he even landed on the “Top 5 of the World Mayor 2014 search conducted annually by the City Mayors Foundation.”. But, this doesn’t end here. Afterward, he threw shade at the president and said:

I don’t want to brag cos the achievements speak for itself. But during this time, we were both mayors and it was my second term. Yung iba dyan ilang dekada na, pero hindi nakapasok sa top 40, sa buong mundo ha, kaya bitter.
