GABBY CONCEPCION – Veteran actor Gabby Concepcion is to be paired with this young actress for a series and here’s his reaction to this.
GMA network’s “Queen of Teleserye Marian Rivera is supposed to be the one who will play the lead role in upcoming series “First Yaya”. However, being a mother of two and due to changes in production shoot such as requiring artists to be in a locked-in taping, she refused to do it.
Mainly, her children are the reasons why as she cannot afford to be far away from them for her husband Dingdong Dantes is also working. The 24-year-old actress, Sanya Lopez, is the one who replaced her and the one who will also be paired with Gabby Concepcion.
This is not the actor’s first time to be paired with younger artists than him but it will be his first time to work with Sanya. And accordingly, he has heard a lot of good things about her. Given her numerous supporters and huge fan base, the veteran actor would like to tell them how happy he is to be paired with her.
“It’ll be a surprise. Hindi ko pa siya nakikila in person. Okay naman siya sa Zoom. Ang ganda naman ng energy na nakikita ko, so, I’m excited,” he added. The taping for this series will last until before Christmas and the actor confessed that it would be his first time, after many years, to celebrate this season in the country. He usually travels and celebrates it in other countries.
Meanwhile, in previous interview, Sanya assured the people to give her best to portray the lead role given to her. To recall, she was also among the actresses people noticed to be perfect for the iconic “Darna” role. She is tall, morena-skinned, and doesn’t have a foreign accent.
