JANE DE LEON – The young Kapamilya actress took to social media her sentiment about the year 2020 amid the onslaught of Typhoon Ulysses.
Undeniably, the year 2020 is really a different year for many countries including the Philippines. In then first quarter of this year, the first round of lockdown took place due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over 200 countries and territories across the globe have recorded cases of the said coronavirus disease. In PH, the Department of Health (DOH) has logged a total of 402,820 cases of COVID-19 as of this writing. It includes 7,721 deaths and 362,417 recoveries.
Currently, the entire country is still under community quarantine measures. Mayors have agreed to place the entire Metro Manila under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) until December.
Recently, another huge challenge crossed the surface. Typhoon Rolly left deaths and massive damages in infrastructures in the different regions in the country.
However, while many areas have yet to recover from Rolly or still recovering from its impact, another tropical storm entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
Typhoon Ulysses brought flood and landslide in the different areas in the country. Many people had to climb their rooftops to get away from the rising water level.

Many celebrities took to social media prayers and messages of love amid the onslaught of Typhoon Ulysses. Young actress Jane de Leon shared her prayers for everyone and her sentiment for year 2020.
Jane de Leon stated that 2020 “has really been so tough and challenging” for everyone and a lot of things have happened. She continuously prays for the safety and protection of everyone. Here’s her Instagram post:
