PAGASA – Ulysses Slows Down Over Philippine Sea, TCWS No. 2 Hoisted Over Parts Of {H This November 11, 2020
PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day November 11, 2020 (Wednesday).
The state weather bureau said in its Severe Weather Bulletin No. 11 that Severe Tropical Storm Ulysses recently slows down over the Philippine Sea while maintaining strength.
According to GMA News, areas under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2 will face damaging gale-force to storm-force winds throughout the passage of the weather disturbance, while strong breeze to near gale conditions will be faced by areas under TCWS No. 1.
There is a possibility that Ulysses will intensify into a typhoon in the next 12 hours, which would also mean that TCWS No. 3 may be raised over Metro Manila and parts of Central Luzon, CALABARZON, and Bicol Region.
The rest of Northern Luzon will be facing strong breeze to gale-force winds due to the surge of Northeast monsoon or Amihan.
Severe Tropical Storm Ulysses was last spotted at about 180 kilometers northeast of Virac, Catanduanes or 415 kilometers east of Infanta, Quezon as of 4 AM. It is packed with maximum sustained winds of 100 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 125 kilometers per hour. It is moving west northwestward at 15 kilometers per hour.

- the southern portion of Quirino (Maddela, Nagtipunan)
- the southern portion of Nueva Vizcaya (Dupax Del Norte, Dupax Del Sur, Aritao, Santa Fe, Alfonso Castaneda)
- the eastern portion of Pangasinan (San Nicolas, San Manuel, Natividad, San Quintin, Umingan, Tayug, Santa Maria, Balungao, Asingan, Urdaneta City, Malasiqui, Bayambang, Basista, Bautista, Alcala, Villasis, Rosales, Binalonan, Laoac, Santo Tomas)
- the southern portion of Zambales (Botolan, Cabangan, San Felipe, San Narciso, San Marcelino, San Antonio, Castillejos, Subic, Olongapo City)
- Bataan
- Tarlac
- Pampanga

For the rain forecast, PAGASA said that heavy to intense with at times torrential rains will be faced by Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and Catanduanes between early Wednesday morning and late afternoon.
Albay, Sorsogon, Quezon including Polillo Islands, and Burias and Ticao Islands will face moderate to heavy with occasionally intense rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and Visayas will face light to moderate with occasionally heavy rains.
Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Aurora, Bulacan, Pampanga, and Bataan will face heavy to intense with at times torrential rains between this late afternoon and early Thursday morning.
Cordillera Administrative Region, mainland Cagayan Valley, Catanduanes, Marinduque, the northern portion of Mindoro Provinces, and the rest of Central Luzon will face moderate to heavy with occasionally intense rains.
The rest of Luzon and Visayas will face light to moderate with occasionally heavy rains..
