Young Girl and Family Uses Mat and Blanket Defend Themselves From Typhoon Rolly
A young girl together with her family and neighbors have defended themselves from Typhoon Rolly using a mat and blanket.
A Facebook user named Jacky Tatel has shared heartbreaking photos of her relatives including Yvette Marie Tagle who defend themselves from the wrath of Super Typhoon Rolly using mat and blankets. The post earns various reactions online.
Yvette and her family’s house has been unroofed due to the violent wind and heavy rain brought by the powerful typhoon. They went to their neighbor’s home to take shelter but the tropical cyclone also unroofed it.
The family used blankets and mat to protect themselves from strong winds and cold rain. Yvette initially thought that she and her family might not survive the disastrous calamity that hits the area.
Luckily, Tagle and her colleagues survived the disaster and just eating the fruits that fall from the trees. They are now waiting for the government to distribute relief goods. Their home remains ruined due to the storm.

Kuha ng cousin ko habang rumaragasa ang bagyo nung Linggo ng umaga. Banig at kumot lang ang ginawa nilang pananggalang. It really breaks my heart. 😭😭😭😭.
Maraming salamat sa mabilis na aksyon ng mga telecommunication sites at nagka signal na sa Catanduanes.”
