Charo Santos reveals Piolo Pascual has went through this phase.
PIOLO PASCUAL – Singer and actor Piolo Pascual has accordingly went through a “rebellious phase” as revealed by ABS-CBN boss Charo Santos.
Charo Santos is the person who discovered Piolo Pascual, one of the most talented actors that the show business industry have now, and she became the actor’s confidante. And during the online program entitled Dear Charo, she revealed that the actor has also gone through a phase of being rebellious.
The actor was asked if ever he felt burnt out from working at a time and Charo answered for him. She said, “Oo, meron. Meron ‘yan na ano… Meron ‘yan na dinadaanan na mga panahon na nagrerebelde.”
Piolo then added that he would always talk to her and the former CEO of ABS-CBN would also always knock some senses to him. He shared, “It was easier for me to share whatever I was feeling, because alam ko na naiintindihan niya ako.”
It happened when he kept himself working to the point that he’s already overworking himself. He even described it as working for “more than seven days in a week literally”. He remembered asking his boss until when this will last and Charo’s response is that it will always be up to him and working will definitely not last forever so he got to make the most out of it.
And Charo being there with him and for guiding him will always is something he’s grateful about. The actor confessed, “If not for Tita Charo, siguro hindi ako nagbida sa mga soap. Hindi ako nagbida sa mga pelikula.”
She is now urging him to produce and to continue what he’s doing. Actually, Piolo co-founded and is co-managing independent film production company called Spring Films.
