Charo Santos Reflects on Life As She Celebrates 65th Birthday
CHARO SANTOS – Former ABS-CBN president Charo Santos shared her realizations as she turned 65.
Filipina actress and media executive Charo Santos is the host of the longest-running tv drama anthology, Maalaala Mo Kaya. She was the chief executive officer of media giant ABS-CBN from 2012 to 2016.
Currently, Santos simultaneously holds the position of president and chief content officer of ABS-CBN University. She turned 65 on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020.
Charo Santos marked the milestones with a series of throwback photos on her IG account showing the highlights of her showbiz career. Her latest accomplishment was when she chaired the gala of the 43rd Int’l Emmy Awards in 2015.
Charo Santos shared photos of her family and her 3 grandchildren -Basti, Talia, and Julia. In the caption of her post, the veteran actress expressed her thoughts about her interesting life.
“As I turn 65, I can only reflect on the goodness of God with all the blessings that He bestowed upon me. As I look back on my journey of triumphs and trials, wins and losses, favors and failures, I know that I could not have survived these alone and my heart is filled with warmth knowing that I was always being guided every step of the way.”
“I am grateful to have lived, loved, and learned and all the more thankful that I am continually living, loving, and learning.”
And at the end of her post, she expressed her gratitude to everyone who sent their well-wishes and greetings on her special day. She wrote: “Thank you for all your well wishes, for all the gifts, and most importantly, for all the love you all have showered me!!! It’s so good to be 65!”
