When Kamala Harris was selected as Joe Biden’s running mate, the superstar gushed over the vice-presidential nominee on her Instagram account. She wrote, “I’ve had the privilege of getting to know @kamalaharris over the years and @joebiden choosing her as his running mate is already a testament to his decision making: Kamala is exactly the kind of leader WITH experience we desperately need right now.”
The 28-year-old rapper initially supported Senator Bernie Sanders in his bid, but she offered support for Joe Biden after Sanders decided to quit of the 2020 race.
Queen B made the announcement on her Instagram the day before the election. She donned a Biden-Harris sticker and facemask.
In an interview with V magazine, the American superstar endorsed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris saying that the tickets “takes global health risks seriously and puts the lives of its people first.”
